FAQ's


Weddings


  We require a $100 deposit to be paid as a retainer to hold your wedding date.  This fee is non-refundable and is credited towards the total price of your cake. You will not be put on our calendar until this retainer has been paid. The remainder of the total balance can be paid in payments at any time, but payment in full is required 30 days prior to the wedding. If you book with us less than 30 days before your wedding, you are required to pay in full. 

Custom Celebration Cakes


  We require 50% of the total to be paid as a retainer to hold your date. This fee is non-refundable. The remainder of the balance is due at pick-up.  

Care & Instructions for Pick-Up


We make sure to create your cakes with the proper support in place.  We are not responsible for any damages that occur after it leaves the bakery. The person picking up your cake is required to sign off on the contract stating that the cake has been made to your satisfaction. Once the cake leaves the bakery, we are no longer responsible for the cake. Cakes are fragile and require special handling and transport. Our cakes are securely boxed and we advise you place the box on a flat surface (car floorboard) to ensure safe travel. It is your responsibility to get the cake to it's destination in one piece. Once the cake has reached it's destination, we recommend placing it in the refrigerator for safe keeping. Single tier cakes should come out of the fridge 2-3 hours prior to serving and multi-tiered cakes 3 hours before serving to allow them to reach room temperature before eating. Our cakes taste best at room temperature. If the cake is served too cold, the buttercream will be too hard and if it sits out all day at room temp, it will start to melt and sag.  

Please note, we do not allow pickup of any cakes 3 tiers or larger. These must be delivered. 


Delivery


  We offer delivery on all custom cake orders. If you would like to have this option, please let us know and we will add the delivery fee to your order.  

How much do your cakes cost?

Many factors are involved in determining the cost of a cake as every cake is customized to order and priced individually.  Cake pricing incorporates many variables and specifics, such as the number of servings, the complexity of design elements, and number of tiers. Our cakes generally range between $4-$8/serving and we have a $75 minimum order requirement. 

What do I need to bring to our cake consultation?

During our meeting, I will collaborate on a custom cake design that embodies the full vision you have in mind for your event. Please bring anything that you would like to incorporate into your design and/or is the inspiration behind your event.  I can pull inspiration from invitations, centerpieces, decor, bouquets, venue, theme, heirloom, or dress!

Are there gluten free/vegan/special dietary options? 

At this time, I do not offer nut, gluten free, vegan, dairy free or sugar free options.
